Emergency Taper - 30 Hour

We had to try these out. They are all natural beeswax, and the lady we buy them from (who sells us our honey too) told us they burn for some clearly unreasonable period of time. Smelling faintly of honey, we were more than happy to try one out, in a tightly controlled scientific experiment, for your benefit.

We were first surprised to find that they didn't drip wax. The melt radius is just inside the edges of the candle. Also, the wick didn't smoke or need trimming. The cotton wick works perfectly, and doesn't smolder as it goes.

Well, it's been well over 24 hours (we clocked 30) since we lit our test candle, and it's still a couple inches tall. The candles burn cleanly and slowly, with a strong, bright flame. For candles, we are very impressed with these things. Think about how long that is in two hour increments when the power is out, and you're still awake. A single candle could last weeks!

Maybe it's our lack of expertise in the world of candles, but we'd have to say these pleasant smelling, long lasting, clean burning 6 inch natural beeswax candles are kings of the candle world. We can safely say we are more impressed by these than any other candle we've encountered for all our achluophobic needs.

Update: We got about 30 hours total on our test candle.
