This is a fantastic little gem of educational history. Unlike some of the more politically dated war-time cartoons you might find, this one is as relevant today as when it was first aired a generation (maybe two) ago.

Watch it once, then sing along the second time!

It's completely shocking to me how much this is still a problem - completely outrageous. Just yesterday we went walking through upper Bidwell park and found that someone had used one of those little plastic baggies to pick up their dog's poo - and then left it on the ground next to the trail! How ridiculous can people get?
It's bad enough that there's always random cans, and other trash that people leave near the creek and trails, don't people know what they're doing? And if they don't, why haven't we learned yet? This horrible laziness towards dealing with our own trash needs to stop if we think we can ever be 'green'.

Wow... yeah, you don't get points for putting your dog's poo in a bag if you leave the bag on the ground anyway. All you've done is make it non-biodegradable. Smooooooth....
