I recently received a great letter (not just because it was positive, mind you) from someone who was expressing how they enjoyed the quotes and product descriptions that we toil to create. Well, not 'toil'. Risk eventual carpal tunnel? Possibly - medical journals are still out on that - BUT I DIGRESS! Amy at The Grocery Service wrote a great email telling us she did in fact enjoy our quotes. Thanks Amy! We try to make the products fun to read and easy to understand what you're purchasing. Oh, and easy to buy. Yes.. there IS an end goal in mind ;). So! Lesson for today's blog post? AllYourGreen.com loves to hear from you! And buy from Amy's Grocery Service - she a great proponent of reusable bags! Community Comments

Well, thanks!! Gee, I send unsolicited gushing adulation and see what I get in return? A plug! Cool. In deciding to start my next adventure, The Grocery Service, I discovered an extraordinary phenomenon - the reusable bags industry/debate. I am captivated and bemused by all there is to see out there on this, but, I wasn't surprised - capitalism IS still capitalism. The Grocery Service is but a very small, very local, shopping service-in-the-making with big plans... for right now I list the reusable bag options I have found so anyone visiting has a good selection to "shop for quality reusable bags to suit your shopping style, your personal style, and your lifestyle." ChicoBags are right there, too, now that I've found you guys! Keep up your great work, and I shall return often to get caught up on the subjects you are educating me on, and to see the fun new stuff you are carrying. (ooo - anything you can tell about the Segway?? Now how green is that? Roy, might THAT work for your daily commute instead of your scooter? lol ) Thanks, guys! *joy*magic*and*miracles* to you all! -- Amy on June 4, 2008
actually, Dieter (TheGreenGir) is the Segway aficionado 'round these parts. And I've since upgraded my commute even further than that. I'm 100% telecommutable now, and our new offices are 5 minutes on nice, wide, well-maintained bike paths from my house. Now I'm not even using the 12 cents per day of (probably coal) electricity to run the scooter!
-- Roy on June 13, 2008 Update: Dieter actually GOT one. The madman. Expect an "AllYourGreen-Mobile 2.0" post soon. -- Roy on June 14, 2008 I feel as if I contributed impetus to Dieter's "mad" move... (though I AM aware it was likely just a trick of synchronicity) but what a hoot! I have WANTED one of those since I first hear of them - I now wonder how we could attach cargo carriers for delivering groceries............................. -- AmyJ on June 20, 2008 They have attachable saddle-bag type deals. They're in the mail already. In the meantime, he's been using that front pouch and a small backpack, each of which can hold a gallon of milk. -- Roy on June 21, 2008 |
